Packaging Steps Of Steel Coil Protection Board

The Steel Coil Protection Board combines most of the plastic properties, and is impact-resistant, low-temperature-resistant, wear-resistant, chemical-resistant, self-lubricating, and absorbs impact energy. It can protect the steel coil from impact, water-proof, and pressure-proof damage during transportation or storage.

Packaging Steps Of Steel Coil Protection Board

    1. Lift the steel coil to the packaging position and install the paper inner guard.
    2. Straighten the vapor phase anti-rust paper and plastic film, start folding the edges, and press them into the roll core 100-200mm. After folding 4 times, use 300mm long tape to stick the vapor phase anti-rust paper and plastic film on the paper guard, with a total of about 20 folds. The fold angle is required to be uniform and pressed flat.
    3. Install the PVC plastic electrostatic protective film and wrap it outside the anti-rust paper for waterproofing.
    4. Install the paper or plastic outer corner guard, and stick it with equal-length tape every 300mm.
    5. Install the plastic peripheral guard. The interface position of the outer guard plate should be controlled at 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock, with the opening facing downward, and the overlap should be sealed with cloth-based tape to prevent water from entering and causing rust on the steel coil, and to prevent damage to the steel coil caused by collision during transportation.
    6. Install the plastic inner peripheral guard plate in the form of a roll. The center line of the overlapping part of the overlap should be at 12 o’clock, and the interface should be sealed with cloth-based tape.
    7. Install the outer steel corner guard.
    8. Install the plastic side guard. Note that the weld interface of the metal side guard should be horizontally downward and not upward to prevent rainwater from seeping along the joint during the transfer or transportation of the steel coil.
    9. Install the inner steel corner guard.
    10. Tie the circumferential straps. Tighten the two circumferential straps of the outer corner guard, and the lock buckle and lock buckle pad should be hit at 12 o’clock as much as possible to prevent the steel coil from being flattened or crushed when stacking. When the strap is tightened, the raised part of the corner guard should be flattened with a rubber hammer. The middle circumferential strapping should be tied after the longitudinal strapping is completed to compress the longitudinal strapping.
    11. Tie the longitudinal strapping. Tie the core strapping evenly four times, and the lock position should be on the same circumference of one side of the steel coil. One of the straps presses the interface between the inner and outer guard plates and the interface position. During the tightening of the strapping, use a rubber hammer to hit the inner and outer corner strapping.

    Conclusion

Steel Coil Protection Board has the advantages of smooth surface, pressure resistance, impact resistance, cold resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. It is an ideal new packaging material for stainless steel plates (coils), hot-rolled and cold-rolled plates (coils), galvanized plates (coils), etc.
